Okay, I'm going to take a wild stab at this. Provide any additional details you wish below. Post relevant photos of build/parts here. Moreover, is this fan hub from Enthoo only functional with 3-pin fans? Pretty much the definitive answer(s) I'm wanting are - what happens when you plug a PWM fan into a 3-pin header, or a 3-pin fan into a PWM 4-pin header, as I've read so much conflicting information. Disconnect all 3-pin fans from the hub and only have one PWM fan plugged into FAN_1. List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.Ĭhange fan speeds in BIOS. That includes my Mugen's fan or either of the PWM case fans - they all run full tilt when connected to this hub. (I believe this hub translate the PWM signal from the CPU_1 header to voltage adjustments.) When I plug a 4-pin PWM fan into the hub, that fan spins at 100% speed, regardless of BIOS settings. When I plug my 3-pin fans into the hub, they are controlled fine by my motherboard/hub. It's powered by SATA, has a 4-pin PWM lead that I plugged into the motherboard's CPU_1 PWM header. I've done copious amounts of research and there's old/recent posts and conflicting advice to the point that I don't have a firm answer.
